Can't Help Falling in Love

Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be

Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be

Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you

Rachael

Rachael is going back to Bluemountains to continue her study...

How long I have been knowing her? It's been 2 years by now? Yeah...probably...

I met her about 2 years ago when I was in Hong Kong. My first impression of her was, frankly speaking, quite unimpressed. The thing was another friend of mine met her in a different occasion and said she's gorgeous, a girl with lighting up the room quality. But she wasn't quite in the way my friend described to me for the first time I met her.

We've exchanged our contacts anyway...

[A year and half later]

Rachael has to do her industry placement in Sydney, so she moved to the city, and shortly after I arrived Sydney this year, we met each other. I must say, life is full of interesting coincidences.

We always live very close to each other, especially after we both moved into Regal apartment. She lives at 13th floor and I live at 11th floor.

I doubt if she realizes sometimes she's quite childish, yeah, like a baby. Of course I am fully aware of her effort of self-improvement, but she's just a 21 years old girl, afterall. One of her all time favourite activities is chatting, and I have a reputation for being a good listener, so we are a match in this context, she talks, I listen.

Hanging out with Rachael often has affected at least certain part of my life (obviously I have less opportunities to get to know other girls since people tend to preceive us as a couple =.=), she's a Karaoke diva and dancing queen. I like singing too, but I wouldn't go to Karaoke often when I was in Hong Kong. Rachael, however, has a fetishistic passion over Karaoke, I think she probably had a record of going to Karaoke box 6 nights a week (that's really unimaginable to me...). So, for a period of time, I would have to go to Karaoke at least once a week(?).

She loves dancing so much that she would go to the Galaxy World Arcade to play "Dance Dance Revolution", with my company (I am a novice to this game, and it's really tough for me, my weight is over 90 kgs!!!).

There is a huge collection of Taiwanese TV shows in her laptop, so she would visit me during night with her laptop, along with snacks and green tea, so we could watch the videos together, and have something for chewing. This is actually one of my favourite moments of the day, as there is a serious lackage of snacks and entertainment in my unit.

No one (except myself?) is willing to eat anything cook by me, because they will become poisoning, toxic and unsuitable for eat once the food received my treatment. Rachael, wouldn't eat them as well, of course, but she would cook for me from time to time and she's really good in cooking. Speaking of food, there is one thing which is really unforgettable, that is, we actually went to Paddy's Market together to buy vegis and fruits...=.=" While she is much younger than I do, but she takes care of me instead of the other way round.

At times, she would dress up and put on heavey make up, the effect of "before and after" is so different that many people would recognize her as a different person. But, as a friend, she's never pretentious, and always caring, a virtue that fewer girls have these days.

Rachael, I want to let you know that I am very proud of having you as a friend, and thanks alot for your support to me when I was facing the adversity.

Best wishes always,
Zenneth

8x10

Received an email from a magic collector in US:

"Hey Zenneth, I am also a magician but my true passion is collecting magic memorabilia. I would like to have an 8x10 autographed photo of you to put on my wall with the other greats in magic..."

When did I become a great in magic? But my name is listed as Notable card practitioners in wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_magic

That is, of course, to my great astonishment to see it, but again, aside from myself, Brad Christian, Jay Sankey, Simon Lovell and Oz Pearlman are also being listed there. That explains a lot of the accuracy and authencity of the list...

自杀前的奇遇

This is actually from my junk mail box, but it's worth reading:

Regal 1103

Currently I'm living in unit 1103 of Regal Apartment, together with another 5 sharemates from Korea, Malaysia and New Zealand. The flat itself is pretty crap(I have been killing some cockroachs everyday), but all of the sharemates are very nice.

It's a coincidence that all of us are single guys, and there are some single Japanese and Thai girls living the unit next door. My Korean sharemates are very interested in getting to know them, but they never knock the door and being proactive.

Being the most mischievous person in the flat, I decided to do them a favour and invite the girls to join us for a sunday night gathering, so that all of us could have some good time. One night I met Akane(Jap) as I returning home, so I talked to her to see if she and her flatmates will be interested in joining us for a friendly gathering.

It went well and it was planned that girls will come to our place at 8:30 p.m. on the last sunday night, but they didn't come until Akane finally arrived home at 11:30 p.m.

Keith(Kiwi) and I went to the next door at 10:30 pm to see if they were ready or not. It was Ai (Jap) who answered the door, she asked Ryoko(Jap) to see if she was ready, Ryoko said she's not because she has to put on make up, Ai then asked Ryoko if she will be ready in 10 mins, Ryoko replied that she needs 20 mins...both Keith and I almost went literally ROFL when we heard her reply.

When we told this to other sharemates, Lucas (Malay) said if a girl said she needs 20 mins for doing make up, chances are she will be more likely to be ready after 30 mins - an hour time.

Pall(Thai) came to our place but stayed for few mins only, Keith was a bit disappointed as he's actually interested in Thai girls than Japanese.

Akane was a very tough spectator, she was very grabby and insisted to have a look of the card that I placed onto the table when I was performing a card trick. But this challenging attitude of her actually enhenced the effect of my performance of Sponge Lips a great deal. She asked if I could make the sponge lip in her hand split into two, hahaaa...your will be done, she was freaked out and throw the sponge lips away when she opened up her hand. When I perform it for Ryoko, Akane asked again if I could split the sponge lips into three, I said no, but I could do better than that, both Ryoko and Akane screamed when they saw 5 sponge lips when Ryoko opened up her hand.

Ai said her bed is attached to the wall, and that sometimes she would hear some noises from the other side of wall during the night, and then we all looked at Martin(Kor). He was surprised, and insisted he didn't do anything. We joked that the next time when Ai hear some noises from the otherside of the wall, it means Martin is trying to to say hello to her (Martin actually knocked the wall that night before he went to bed, and he was delighted when Ai responsed him with three knocks.)

Eddie(Kor) was really interested in Ai too, and he was very happy when all the girls said they really like the omelette that he made.

Lucas was more interested in Ryoko, he told me afterwards that he has exchanged some stares with Ryoko. But he was terribly sorry for he didn't write down his mobile number on the card or asking Ryoko's mobile number when he perform a card trick for Ryoko.

Among the guys, Jonathan(Kor) speaks more Japanese than the rest of us, it's funny that Asian people tend to be amazed when they hear someone from another country could speak their langauge. So the girls gave him some very animated responses when Jonathan spoke Japanese. (O.T.: Why is that native english speakers are never amazed by the fact that Asian can speak good english?)

After girls left our place, we talked about them and finished all the white wine, nachos and chips, it was a great fun. And what's really good about it is that each of us only spent 5 bucks for everything.

Later on, all of my sharemates told me that it's actually the first time that they see someone who has the balls to invite the girls in this way. hmm.....

Recent encountings

It's been a few days since my last post, so where I have been and what I have been doing?

Good news and bad news:

Bad News department -- I believe that I have failed Takeovers and Reconstructions, which is probably one of the hardest courses, if not the hardest one, among all of the postgraduate law courses at USYD. Not sure what I can do about this at the moment, but am prepared for some undesirable and unpleasant consequences.

Tommy Wonder Passed Away -- Rest in Peace

Good News department -- Finally, I can take a short break from assignments and examinations, doing nothing at all, even it's just for a few days. I am tired and exhuasted, both physically and mentally. The break comes right in time, otherwise readers of this blog will be reading some really ingenius thoughts here, as they will be posted up by an insane.

Moved in a new apartment (actually same as the previous one, different unit though), interesting combination of flatmates, all single guys at the same age as I do, they come from different countries, not funny but very nice people...
